I'm a "local yokel" born in Kaimuki, raised in Waianae, graduated from Aiea High, then UH, then released into the wild for the next ten years. Came in from the "cold" in hotel management and now live in Japan - bilingual, teaching university and pre-master's level Hospitality, and writing for Ohta Publications periodically.
