Naked Sundays is a beauty brand created to make sun protection work smoothly with cosmetics, makeup, and skincare. Its focus is on SPF products that blend comfortably, avoid a white cast, and allow easy reapplication throughout the day without interrupting a daily routine.

The brand began with Samantha Brett, a former TV News journalist who observed colleagues spending long hours outdoors and later needing to have skin cancers removed. She saw that there was no SPF designed to work well with makeup while still offering dependable protection for everyday wear.

Naked Sundays grew from this realization and developed into a first-of-its-kind SPF line created by women and guided by scientific research. The mission is to help reduce skin cancer rates for the next generation by offering protection that is simple to use and suitable for daily life.

The first product introduced was the Hydrating Glow Face Mist, which also worked as a makeup setting spray. It sold out within two weeks. Later that same year, the brand launched at Mecca in Australia with four products, which sold out rapidly when shoppers bought 3 months of inventory in just 24 hours.

Naked Sundays continued to grow as consumer interest in practical sun care expanded. Four years after launch, it remains a leader in the global SPF movement and has helped establish a new category that combines skincare, makeup, and high-performance SPF.

Its products are available through major retailers and online. The brand can be found in over 1000 Ulta Beauty stores in the United States, over 1000 Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Canada, and at Sephora and Boots in the United Kingdom. The company introduces about 10 new products every year.

The collection offers a peptide foundation tint with strong consumer interest, a hydrating glow mist setting spray, water glow serum drops, a glow balm mineral stick offered in several blush shades, a bronzer, a hydrating moisturizer, and other cosmetics created with SPF. A fragrance line inspired by Summer is also part of the brand’s offerings.
