In 2012, Syahidah graduated from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with a Masters of Science (MSc.) in Knowledge Management (2nd Upper Class Honours). Syahidah's interest of study in Knowledge Management revolves around intellectual capital management and community of practices of emerging industries (e.g. entrepreneurship, non-profit organisations). During her coursework, she pursued a dissertation entitled "The Impacts of a Knowledge Commons on Collaborative Consumption". The dissertation explored the impact of the knowledge commons on collaborative lifestyles (i.e. coworking spaces) in Singapore.

Syahidah is working as a Programme Executive with AWWA Centre for Caregivers. She assisted the Centre Director with strategic outreach programmes and new media. At the present time, Syahidah is overseeing the planning and development of an online community network for family caregivers in Singapore. The portal, as well as, the social media groups will act as a collaborative platform for advocacy and social awareness in caregiving.
