N. A. M.

I lived through 20 years of daily abuse.

A family of alcoholics tried to take my heart and will through physical, mental and verbal tortment.

Art and writing, for me, was and still is - survival. An absolute outlet. Graduating College in 2009, shy of a year later my life took a tangent.

I was married during college and divorced afterward. It happens, especially when choosing the wrong person.

Exactly a year later, I was hit by an SUV while riding my bicycle. The vehicle was traveling 45-50 miles an hour, hitting me from the side when I had the right-a-way.

My injuries led to five surgeries in a year and a half time frame, and being permanently disabled.

Four years were grim. Very.

Once more, artwork and writing saw me through.

The blessing came in the form of two individuals. My fiancé and her wonderful son.

We formed our family shortly after my accident. Now I can say I know what having one is actually like. They aided and encouraged me to stand back up and to share the artwork/writing which was created during it all and still.

I now have positive people in my life, a purpose, direction, and all motivation to make dreams come true out of an absolute nightmare.

I hope that the writing and artwork helps those who can relate.

NAM_NATION was created by myself to, help reach others having a need to never feel alone.
