Early Life and Education

Born on December 24, 1995, in Monze Mission Hospital, Monze District, Southern Province, Zambia. In 2000, moved to Lusaka to join my father. I am the second-born in a family of nine children, with six sisters.

I started my education at Nabukuyu Basic School in Monze from 2003 to 2009. I later moved to Kazungula District, where I attended Riverview Secondary School for grades 8 and 9. And then completed senior secondary education at Monze Boarding Secondary School, specializing in A-level subjects.

Career

I developed an interest in Media and pursued it with Alison, along with other short courses from various institutions. I have seen my passion for media leading me to establish Kaz Media Group Zambia, a Facebook-based news platform, on February 21, 2021. The company was officially registered on September 19, 2022.

Today Kaz Media Group Zambia has grown into a prominent media outlet in Kazungula, covering news, live events, documentaries, film production, music, and sports.

Personal Life

I am married to Linda Mwangala Masheke. We have two children:

• Adena Nancy Namakobo (born August 14, 2020)
• Aiden Brian Namakobo Jr. (born March 14, 2025)

Through Kaz Media Group Zambia, I have played a vital role in amplifying voices in Kazungula and beyond. It is through this commitment to storytelling, media and filmmaking that continues to shape the media landscape in Zambia.
