Name Train Depot was founded by Colin Johnsone a Tech Entrepreneur form the Sunsshine Coast in QLD.

Name Train Depot was founded by Colin Johnsone it is a small family-run store with a big love for beautiful, personalised gifts. Our journey began in 2022, but our roots go back much further, with over a decade of experience running an online toy shop that delivered more than $2 million in sales. Along the way, we discovered something special: wooden name trains.

These charming little trains ticked every box. They’re lightweight, easy to ship, full of character, and make truly meaningful gifts for little ones. Whether it’s a first birthday, a baby shower, or just a thoughtful surprise, our trains are designed to become keepsakes — not just toys.

We now operate from home, fulfilling orders ourselves and teaching our kids about eCommerce as we go. Every name train we sell is part of that journey — carefully selected, packed with care, and sent off with a smile.
