I've been a professional audio engineer since 1994. As a recording engineer I worked at various recording studios throughout southern california.I've recorded all kinds of music, orchestral, jazz, rock, hip hop, country western and gospel. I worked with multiplatinum artist like Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur. I recorded the certified platinum compilation Mo Thug family scriptures for Bone Thugs and Harmony on their mo thugs record label. As a live sound engineer I've run audio for as a freelancer for various sound companies in stadiums like the the Los Angeles Coliseum,The Home Depot Center and The Indian Wells Tennis Garden which holds 16,000 people. I do theatrical audio production as well in 1900-2500 seat theaters. I have a production company and have been involved in countless music productions. Although my primary role is to make everything sound great I sometimes find myself working with inexperienced producers who are overwhelmed with production and audio specifications. I usually kinda take charge of the situation and manage the audio production for them while showing them how the process works so they know how to do it when they return for their next project. In summary I thrive and excel at contributing to the success of a company or project. I'm a leader at heart and I love what I do. I belive in getting the job done right the first time. I'm not a fan of the we do it nice because we do it twice mindset.
I've been working off and on as an RF field technician since the late nineties. My first love is music and related technologies. The recording engineer world and rf engineer world have similar technologies and I go back and forth between the two when the work is there. My not being a fan of the we do it nice because we do it twice mindset applies here as well.
