Lee Ann Norman is curious about how others read the world and how their readings influence everything. She writes about the intersection of culture, politics, and aesthetics, the role of conversation in creative practice, and reclaiming art for our everyday. Her writing has appeared in a variety of publications, including BOMB, UPenn Urban Education Journal, and Studio, the Studio Museum of Harlem Magazine, among others. Lee Ann earned the Master of Fine Art in art criticism and writing from the School of Visual Arts (New York), the Master of Arts Management from Columbia College (Chicago), and the Bachelor of Music Education from Michigan State University East Lansing, MI).
