Welcome to my page and thank you for coming by! You might be wondering what this page is about, well i would like to introduce you to the world of cyber crime. What is cyber crime you may ask? Cyber crime is defined as "Criminal activities carried out by means of computers or the Internet" according to the Oxford.

Cyber crime can be anything from file sharing and piracy, hacking, to stealing identities, Counterfeiting and forgery. according to Statistics Canada the number of reported incidents related to cyber crime in Canada came to an outstanding number of 23,996.

Globally it is the 2nd most reported crime worldwide, as of right now it's estimated that the cost globally of cyber crime activity could skyrocket to $6 trillion by 2021.

Just remember it does not have to be this way, there's ways to protect yourself so you don't become a victim!

Get Cyber Safe is a great campaign helping Canadians acquainted with online familiarity and what to look out for when online.
