Nancy Reid puts together peer learning groups for entrepreneurs.
She began her career leading business units for Block Communications Inc., a diversified media company of which she remains an active shareholder. After business school she spent a few years at Lehman Brothers and its successor firm, where she dedicated herself to supporting entrepreneurs. Since 2010, as Director of Membership for North America’s premier peer learning network for private investors, she has composed discussion groups designed to provide business owners and private investors with unique insights and opportunities in the investing landscape.
She has served on the board of Globalhood, Family House, an American Red Cross chapter, and the MCO Foundation. She was appointed by the President of Dartmouth College to serve on the Advisory Committee on Investor Responsibility for the Dartmouth endowment in 2006-2007. In 2010, she directed strategy for a $100 million capital campaign for a nonprofit organization in New York City.
Nancy holds a BA from Yale University, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Grand Diplôme from the French Culinary Institute. The most important part of her education has been independent travel in over 40 countries. She has lived in the UK, Spain, and Ecuador. She lives with her husband in Seattle.
