Nancy Wang
COO of RevSquare, an interactive agency that serves as a digital partner for leading Fortune 500 companies in their industries as well as start-ups trying to make a name for themselves. She wears two hats. She leads strategy and business development, while serving as the "organizer" of all of RevSquare's infrastructure.
Nancy has led the development of digital strategies for leading media companies in North America and Europe. She created a methodology that RevSquare uses to help companies to determine in what initiatives to invest for long-run success.
Nancy's experience over the past 2 decades has shaped her love of helping businesses to innovate, grow and thrive in today's competitive environment. One of her major strengths is to be able to make the leap from strategy to help clients lead the execution. Major clients have included Showtime, Scholastic, The Associated Press, Random House, BMG Direct, Play Bac, Kaplan, Heinz Europe, Merrill Lynch, Seagram Chateau & Estates among others.
Prior to RevSquare, she was VP and COO of an Internet start-up developing online news and education products and services for children ages 5 to 16. She acquired first-hand knowledge, experience and leadership in building an online service.
She began her career as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse, and specialized in the media industry during her tenure at Booz Allen & Hamilton. She has won awards for her client service.
Nancy currently teaches at CUNY J-School in the Entrepreneurial Journalism program led by Jeff Jarvis.
Nancy is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Columbia Business School. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in French. She is currently also the Board Chair of Shuang Wen Academy Network, a non-profit organization offering dual language (Mandarin-English), dual culture programs in New York City.
