For over twenty years, Westchester County has been my home. My husband Tom and I moved to Rye Brook in 1996 and we have proudly raised our family here.

I have always felt a responsibility to give back to the community that embraced us. Over the years I have volunteered on many committees in Port Chester and Rye Brook. During my six years on the Blind Brook Board of Education, I negotiated union contracts, oversaw school budgets with historically low tax increases, and helped save local taxpayers millions of dollars by working to keep Signature Flight on the tax rolls.

Now I’m running for County Legislator to continue giving back to my community. I believe in supporting policies that protect and respect the people who work hard every day to make ends meet. I believe in fiscal responsibility and transparency—not borrowing against our future and selling off our county assets. Most of all, I believe there is no substitute for engaging one another in a meaningful dialogue and listening to our neighbors’ concerns. We may not always agree, but we can respect each other’s opinions and work towards common solutions.
