My goal as an artist is to compel others to see anew — and to see beauty in the detail that most overlook. I am especially intrigued with the wabi-sabi aesthetic – a Japanese term for the beauty in the humble, the imperfect, and the transient – but also inspired by the mundane and driven to create unusual combinations. My convergent art is created with photography, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro, encaustic (beeswax) and collage.
