Who am I, you ask?
am a child of God.
I am a Christian.
I am a wife.
I am a mother.
I am a daughter.
I am a niece.
I am a cousin.
I am a sister.
I am a grandmother.
I am a sister in law.
I am a mother in law.
I am a researcher.
I am a writer.
I am a genealogist.
I am a transcriber.
I am your distant relative.
I am a shoulder to weep on.
I am an ear to listen.
I am a dreamer.
I am a hoper.
I am a friend.
But most of all, I am just me.
I have an old soul, I've been told. I believe it. I have a passion for everything old. Antiques, genealogy, photos, times, cars, houses.
I have been married to my best friend for 35 years. We have three beautiful grown daughters, We also have three beautiful granddaughters, and a very sadly missed late grandson.
Among my blogs, you will find one for networking for all of the missing and murdered souls out there who no longer have a voice to speak on their own. I join the seas of people who try to be their voice.
Among my blogs, you will find a new, online diary type page. This is where I have begun to share a little more of me, than what I have allowed others to know about before. I feel that perhaps by opening up more about what I feel, what I think, what we need, and how I need to communicate may be a helpful tool to help me ward off some of the intense depression I have been going through. In that page, you will find a lot more about my husband's incredible journey's through the tunnels of illnesses such as diabetes, stroke, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and much much more. Our journey began in 1982, but it took a hiatus until 2010.
Perhaps some of our experiences and knowledge can help other to learn, and put things into perspective somewhat. Perhaps it may be the basis of some questions you may need to think of to ask your own physicians.
Among my blogs, you will find my glass. My beautiful, therapeutic glass. It is all for sale. I hope you'll share it with others, that have a love of the older, finer things in life that many pieces of this collection of mine represent.
I leave you with a smile, and a prayer for you to gain something from the pages I share with you.
