I have more than twenty years experience as a clinical psychologist in private practice working with adults and couples as well as adolescents. My areas of interest include the treatment of anxiety, depression, life transitions and interpersonal relationships, and I have extensive experience working with loss and infertility.

People embark on therapy for a variety of reasons. For some, the decision may be related to a specific crisis or set of symptoms. Others may come for help exploring thoughts and feelings in order to live in a more meaningful way, with greater freedom. Whatever the motivation, beginning therapy can be challenging. It's my hope that we can work together to better understand you and your unique experiences with the ultimate goal of a fuller, richer life.

My doctoral degree is from the University of Cincinnati and in addition to completing the two year Advanced Psychotherapy Training Program at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute, I continue in psychoanalytic training. Prior to opening my private practice I worked in university settings as well as a cognitive disorder center and community clinics. I have served on doctoral dissertation committees and am available for supervisory consultation.
