Nancy Johnson

Some of my fondest memories involve books--my parents reading aloud to me while I sat on their laps; learning to read on my own and experiencing adventures and worlds that were far beyond my reality... Even as a child, I realized that through books, there was no limit to where I could go and what I could do.

When I graduated from high school, it was my love for books and reading that led me to a degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin.

I taught English, Speech, and Theater Arts in Texas schools for 34 years and retired in June of 2014.

In July of that same year, I began working as a Sales Consultant for DLB Books, Inc. in Katy, Texas.

Now, I'm getting paid to talk about books with people who are as passionate about them as I am. What could be better than that!
