Nancy Newman

Nancy Newman has served as a studio host and reporter for the YES Network since 2003. Over the course of her career, Nancy Newman has won multiple awards while covering sports in the New York area.

Since she began hosting the Yankees Batting Practice Today Show, Ms. Newman has won five New York Emmy Awards. Examples of her award-winning content include the New York Yankees Pre-Game coverage of 2007 and the Yankees’ Live Game Telecast in 2011. Since its creation in 2002, the YES Network has won 126 New York Emmys, and in the 17-year period from 2002 to 2018 it was the most-watched American regional sports network 15 times.

Alongside her television and print coverage of the Yankees, Nancy Newman has hosted multiple MLB events. In 2015, she hosted The Green Sports Alliance Awards, where the Yankees were recognized for their environmental activism. In 2019, she hosted the induction ceremonies for the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame. The same year, Ms. Newman emceed the annual charity event hosted by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), in partnership with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS).
