Nancy Oriola

Entrepreneur Nancy Oriola combines expertise in financial planning and elder services. She began her career as a Certified Financial Planner™ with Winslow & Associates in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then moved on to open a solo practice. In 1998, Nancy Oriola became a financial manager in the adult services program at La Familia, Inc., where she began her focus on work with elders.

At La Familia, Ms. Oriola crafted and managed the financial details of a fiduciary program for seniors. Responsible for developing and maintaining financial plans based on client needs, she also facilitated a continuing support group for individuals with early onset Alzheimer's. She led the group while working toward her master’s degree in social work, which she received in 2000.

The following year, Ms. Oriola opened Decades, LLC, to provide financial support and advocacy for older adults and their caregivers. She continues to lead the company as CEO.

In 2014, Ms. Oriola established The Care Management Group of New Mexico, which helps families create and manage care plans for aging loved ones. She also stands out as the founder of the Aging Life Network, an online resource for caregivers.
