I am a family historian or amateur genealogist. I maintain a database on my family history research which includes information on the current generation. My goal in collecting this information is to provide the information for future generations of the family so they won't have to dig as hard for the information as I had to. Doing family history research is very relaxing to me and I really enjoy doing it.
I'm honored to be a Past-President and current secretary of the Stiles Family of America and a Clan Historian for the Thomas Munson Foundation. In the past I have hosted a family reunion for the Stiles Family of America as well as worked on their website and have helped out with their DNA project.
To earn a living, I work on computers and have my own business repairing computers and training people to work with computers. My main client is National Technology Learning. I do many different activities for NTL including teaching classes, developing classes, developing marketing materials, maintaining their website as well as their Facebook and Twitter accounts, managing student enrollments, setup and maintain classrooms with networked computers in addition to maintaining the computers for the staff, and just about anything else that they require.
1993 I earned an Associates degree from Delta College in Secondary Education. In 1996, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Secondary Education with a minor in Computer Science. I received a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University in 2010. I obtained a second associates degree in Network System Administration from ITT-Tech in June 2013. In June 2015, I should graduate from ITT-Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security. I have also earned several certifications including A+, Network+, Project+, Security+, CIW JavaScript, and CIW Certified Web Designer.
