Hello everybody my name is Nando. I'm an orientation counselor at WSU for the 2015 summer. There are four people in my family including myself, my parents, and my younger brother.
My favorite childhood memory has to be when I was a ball boy at a professional tennis tournament in Palm Springs, CA. I love to play tennis so it was a great experience.
I am currently pursuing a career as a pharmacist.
I chose Washington State University because I fell in love with the campus and atmosphere that Pullman provides.
My favorite place to study is the Owen Library, and my favorite spot on campus is the recreation center.
The thing I like most about being at WSU is the friendships I have made. It has been nearly two years since I first moved into my room at the residence hall, but I am still very good friends with some of the people I lived with on that floor.
My advice for new students would be to stay on track. Keep ahead in your classes by doing assignments as soon as possible.
My advice for parents would be to stay supportive. Sometimes people have their struggles when making a change as big as attending a university. Your encouragement can do wonders.
