Everytime in a diferent place

Where does his inspiration come from? From the view out of the window, the falling rain on the streets, his favorite band? The motivation to express feelings, go crazy, create something new comes when you’re dancing with your eyes closed, drinking, falling in love?
To Nando Corrêa, the greatest source of inspiration comes from his own routine: it is the muse that blows in his ears which way to take on the art crossways.

It is to watch life and set the imagination free… From the gloss of lights on the wet asphalt to the moments when he just sit and watch people passing by on the streets. From the taste of a delicious paella to the taste of a cold beer in a dirty bar. From peaceful Four Tet to distorted Sonic Youth. From hilarious craziness of Sponge Bob Squared Pants to the involuntary grace of trash horror films.

Everything is inspiration to this artist. Mostly the city where he used to live and which he is absolutely crazy about: São Paulo. At his Babilonia Chaos, Nando watches people come and go and imagines their stories on subway carriages, admires the dowtown architecture, drinks liters of coffee (an uncontrollable addiction), wanders listening to Air, draws with friends, gets emotional with people hugging at the metropolis.

It has always been like this and since 1995 part of this energy has been focused to his work as a designer. Nando does press media and interactive projects, electronic catalogs and visual communication, mainly to the internet. At the interactive segment, he has created multimedia projects to clients like SBT, Natura, Oi, C&A, Multibrás (Brastemp and Consul), Disney, Peugeot, Cargill, Givaudan, Schincariol, Bovesp, Learning Links, BMW, MINI, Bosch, Castrol and Nokia. He also works with fashion trade marks and well known artists in Portugal and Brazil like Jun Nakao, Adriana Rocha, Celso Kamura, Eduardo Ruegg, Marcos Faria, Patricia Furlong, Santu Ispiritu, Kruv Kurva, Viva Vida and West Coast. Now participate in projects with creative studios and desingers in Portugal, Australia, England, China and Brazil.
