Read my blog

I have many interests but I'll share one here. Be sure to check out my blog for more day to day entries.

I am a researcher with history as a focus. I currently works for Visit Salt Lake Visitor Center sharing information and history with the public. I have also been a docent at the Utah State Capitol for eleven years.

One of my specialties is researching home sources. Her first biography was based on an autograph book, while another research project involved researching a 1936 Martin guitar.

I have contributed to a series of essays about women suffragists for an online database. My most current work, with co-author, historian and architect Allen Roberts, is about the Utah architect, Richard Kletting.

Cherie Willis, Salt Lake City Library librarian and historian on my research of Annie Chapman:

“Your research is phenomenal and I learned so much. It is beautifully narrated and captivating to watch. I felt a great sense of loss though when I realized that in our Periodicals Dept. we owned four issues of the Manti Herald that must have come from Annie's cabinet. About 15 years ago, someone gave these original issues to the U of U, which was probably the best place for them to reside preservation-wise.”
