My passion is helping organizations connect with their customers in a more meaningful way to achieve their goals.
I made my first website in 1996 at the age of 15. It was about paranormal things and gave me a way to connect with people outside of the small town I grew up in. Since that moment, I fell in love with the possibilities of connection that the internet offered. I feel that the internet is an amazing instrument to bring people together, but if not used in a healthy way, can also promote distance between people. In short, we still have a long way to go to make better experiences for everyone.
Since 2002, I’ve worked with almost 500 clients from small to large. Some of the more well-known clients I’ve created a better user experience for include Citi Mortgage, Open BC (now Ning), Margaret Sanger International, Van Cleef & Arpels, Prudential, Intuit, Wisebread, and many others.
I also use UX principles to make useful, constructive, and engaging paper products through my sister company Epokka.
