Hi! My name's Naomi and I am Excited About Science. I loooovvve science, especially marine biology. I like to make videos about my science experiments. You can visit my Youtube channel by clicking on the little arrow below.
My goal is to show kids like me all over the world how just about anyone can be a scientist. You don't need a lab or fancy equipment to do a fun, educational experiment. One of my main goals in life is to become a marine biologist and go scuba diving to discover a new species of deep sea creature. I believe that understanding our oceans is the key to a sustainable, clean, healthy planet.
I have been to Catalina Island on a school trip for a couple of days and fell in love with CIMI's (Catalina Island Marine Institute) program. We went night snorkeling, dissected a squid, and held sea slugs. It was awesome! There is a three week program on Catalina Island at the same place. There I can get scuba certified, learn how to take photos and shoot videos underwater, and explore the huge kelp forests.
From this site you can link to my campaign to raise money for this marine biology sea camp. My goal is to raise $4,500. Thank you in advance for helping me reach my goal.
