I'm a passionate computer geek who is interested in technology and engineering. I love working with codes, solving problems and working with people to create new, efficient and innovative applications.
Although I believe that one should not restrict himself to a single paradigm, I like coding in Java, C++ and Ruby on Rails.
I started off as a database administrator and moved on to work with data architects. I also worked on performance tuning of queries and databases - helping improve performance by 19% on a bulk loading application.
This year, I had the opportunity to participate in RIT's very own hackathon - Brickhack. Our team worked on creating an Android application to detect heart beat and play songs accordingly. Google presented us with the best android hack award for our effort.
During my spare time, I like fiddling around with financial markets and related math that goes along with it, go trekking, swimming or biking. Take a look at my codes and let me know what you think.
