What’s up, I’m Narayan. I’m a software engineer with expertise in Android development, living in Dubai, and consulting for the largest bank in the UAE, the Emirates National Bank of Dubai. I am a fan of technology, design, and entrepreneurship.

My priorities are more aligned with the product's aim and the problem it solves for the customer. I enjoy working on projects that allow me to put my skills to their best extent while also providing me with a valuable learning experience. I play a significant part in product UI and UX design development, and as a developer and user myself, I retain a special focus on UX and guide the flow, with a solid understanding and experience of UI/UX and as a can-do graphic designer.

I enjoy creating products that have a positive impact on people's lives. I enjoy the perks of working in teams. I am quite enthusiastic about seeing ideas through to completion. I appreciate working on projects with a group of enthusiastic people who share the desire to learn and improve, and I am always on the lookout for projects and opportunities that will help me learn and upskill.

MVVM Architecture, Retrofit 2, Dagger 2, Unit Testing, Ui Testing, Functional Testing, Material Design, Java, and Kotlin are some of my areas of competence. I believe I have a keen eye for detail, which distinguishes me from other engineers. I can turn Photoshop ideas into pixel-perfect Android Layouts that are nonetheless efficient despite their complexity.

The ability to take full responsibility for and drive the completion of work commitments, inquisitive & high zeal to learn/explore new areas, able to work as an individual contributor with minimal oversight, detail-oriented, quick learner, organized, and maintain good code hygiene are some of the key principles that I follow to help me stand out from the crowd.
