Narda Holguin

Coppell, TX

My name is Narda Holguin and this is my first year at Pinkerton Elementary as the Spanish Teacher. I am from a small town called Cananea in the state of Sonora, Mexico. I lived in Mexico up to my eighteenth birthday when I decided to move to El Paso, TX. I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso (Go Miners!).

After obtaining my teaching certification I worked at Dallas ISD for seven years and Irving ISD for one year as a Bilingual and Gen. Ed. teacher. I loved teaching all subjects but Language Arts are very near and dear to my heart.

I enjoy reading, writing, singing, dancing, learning about other languages and different cultures. Like any mom, I love spending time with my two children (Emma and Carlos) and husband (Carlos) who is also a teacher.

I look forward to a wonderful year of meaningful learning experiences with all of you and with the wonderful staff at Pinkerton Elementary.
