As a communications professional, Natacha offers extensive experience working with the U.S. Hispanic market across many industries, including consumer, beauty, non-profit, telecommunications, food and beverage, health care and live entertainment.
Prior to founding Azúcar Communications, Natacha worked at Porter Novelli, where she engineer and managed PR, digital and social media campaigns for Gillette, The Nature Conservancy, Merck, Neutrogena, and SoyJoy. Her dedication and commitment to delivering great results to her clients shows in 2012, when the “Yo Soy (I am)” campaign was nominated as one of the “Top 3 Advertising Digital Campaign Plan & Execution” by Portada Magazine and “PR On a Shoestring” at the first annual PR Daily Awards.
Prior to joining PN, she was a key member of GlobalHue, the largest multicultural agency. There, she worked on the Verizon Wireless and FiOs accounts, where she managed new product launches and integrated marketing campaigns via multi-channel approach that connected brands to their target audience based on culturally relevant insights.
Natacha understands the power of market research, strategy and planning for a campaign’s success. Before joining GlobalHue , she held a post at Young & Rubicam working with brands such as Dell Computers, Hershey’s, Bayer’s Mirena, Accenture and Chevron-Texaco for which she was awarded the IAC (Internet Advertising Competition) award for “Best Energy Online Campaign” in 2008. She was also awarded “Most Talkative Person” by Y&R Brands in 2009, where she competed with Y&R Brands President Eric Hoyt. Yeap, she can talk!
Natacha is also very passionate about giving back to her community as she enjoys contributing to charities and organizations by donating her time and services as an image consultant. She is also a loving mother to two beautiful girls and the publisher of Alma Emprendedora Magazine.
Natacha holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from Florida International University in Miami.
