Natalee Evans

Before I was ten I had fallen completly in love with my first camera. I was a shy child and the camera became an extention of me as well as a way express myself to the world. By the time I hit my teenage years my love had grown even deeper and I spent much of my time learning everything I could about photography .

As a "novice" I was often sought out by friends and family, and people connected to them. I had a few years of paid photography "shoots " with people connected to people in my life but with no formal training I felt it unfair to take more than what the shot itself cost. Additionally, I have had a couple photographs published in local papers. And so, eventually after creating my own family, and having my two beautiful children reach school age themselves, I decided it was time to return to school and follow my dreams.

I am currently an honors student at Durham College in the intensive two-year Digital Photography program and more prepared than ever to turn my passion into my profession!
