Biochemist in Vienna, Austria
I am a Biochemist/Biophysicist currently based in Vienna, Austria. My interests range from cell biology to synthetic biology.
I rebuild complex molecular networks acting in cells by taking into account relevant boundary conditions: confinement to a fluid lipid membrane, crowding, dimensionality provided by actively reorganizing cytoskeleton, or by carbohydrate polymers on the cellular surface. Where possible, I watch and quantify how molecules move and self-organize using high-resolution microscopy.
