Natalia Morales is a dedicated dancer, scholar, and advocate for social justice, seamlessly blending her passion for political science with the expressive power of movement. Pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Dance at UC San Diego, she specializes in Ballet Folklórico, Afro-Cuban, West African, and contemporary dance. As an apprentice and former Social Media/Publicity Chair for Ballet Folklórico La Joya De México, she has choreographed and performed to preserve and celebrate Mexican cultural heritage. She has also collaborated with La Jolla Playhouse and contributed to independent dance film projects, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
Beyond the stage, Natalia is a leader and researcher committed to advocacy and civic engagement. She has served as President of Lambda Theta Alpha, Women’s Commission Chair in student government, and a research apprentice studying Latinx political behavior. Her work with the U.S. Immigration Policy Center and Mayor Todd Gloria’s re-election campaign reflects her dedication to amplifying underrepresented voices. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Natalia continues to use both art and activism to foster cultural expression, representation, and social impact.
