ABOUT THE FISHES...

Well... I'm a freshwater biologist and I like it! :) It could not be any different for someone who was born and raised in the big and green Amazon.

I have 8 years of experience (and a whole life of love about nature) in science projects of research in Amazon and since 2017 I've started adventuring myself as an university teacher, mostly teaching in small towns in Amazon working with vulnerable and isolated people.

I hold an master's degree by the National Institute of Amazonian Research through the Freshwater Biology and Inner Fisheries course.

My interests and participations in scientific projects covered topics on aquatic ecology in neotropical freshwater environments in Amazon. More specific and cool things like: ichthyology, population processes, juvenile, recruitment, time series, hydrometric cycle and others cool topics.

I work mainly in the following central lines: ecology, environmental education, sustainability, conservation and preservation of natural resources.

I also work to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Amazon context, with a emphasis on climate change (13), quality education (4) and sustainable use of terrestrial (15) and aquatic natural resources (15).

...AND ABOUT THE PHOTOS?

Yeah, I'm a big fan of photography and I've had fun with it for some time. I love the art of eternalize the moments and I've tried to spend some time in portraits amazon people.
