Mother and Accountant in virginia

I am a mother of two girls currently living in Virginia with my husband. I believe deeply that you can manifest anything you truly desire in your lifetime.

My interests range from music to wine, and I enjoy spending time knitting, participating in book clubs, and being outdoors. In my free time, I love visiting wineries or taking weekend trips with my husband. Some of my favorite moments, however, are the simple ones—spending time with my daughters at local coffee and tea shops.

In college, I studied business and pre-med with the intention of following in my family’s footsteps and eventually opening my own hospital. Medicine had been a part of my family for generations, and I once expected to become the sixth generation to carry that legacy forward. However, after volunteering in Indigenous communities, I realized that my path toward making a difference might look different. That experience ultimately led me away from medicine and toward public service.

In pursuit of that calling, I moved to the East Coast to begin a career with the Indian Health Service. As a member of the Choctaw Nation, I felt a deep responsibility to give back to the community that supported me through scholarships during my college years.

After five years of service working in Indigenous communities and being honored as Employee of the Month at the agency I decided to pursue a new professional path. I returned to school to earn the accounting credentials necessary to sit for the CPA exam and began a career at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Entrepreneurship had always fascinated me. Growing up, one of my favorite traditions was watching Shark Tank with my parents and my three brothers after school. Those moments left a lasting impression on all of us—one of my brothers even went on to become an inventor himself.

Having been fortunate to pursue many of my dreams, I now try to give back whenever possible. I volunteer with the hope of uplifting my community and supporting my children and husband in their own goals and ambitions. My intention in life is simple: to leave the world a little better than I found it and, as I like to say, to help make heaven crowded.

With love,
