With technology on the rise, I have realized that my work as a financial aid counselor is important to help students move forward in the best possible way.

For the last year and a half I have worked at NYIT as a Assistant Director in the financial aid office. I assist students with their financial aid package while helping them seek the best way to afford college. Before working at NYIT I was working at Rikers Island doing inmate healthcare.

With a MS in criminal justice and working MS in instructional technology, I believe that these qualities can be merged together to teach students and teachers how design has and can shape the way we learn and grow in todays society.
