Natalia Nieves is a Puerto Rican soprano trained at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in vocal performance. Raised in a family of folk and popular musicians, she was exposed to a wide range of musical genres from an early age, which has shaped her versatility as a performer in both classical and popular styles. Her voice is characterized as a lyric soprano with flexibility and agility, allowing her to explore coloratura repertoire as well. In 2023, she was awarded the Audience Prize and the Culturarte Award at the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in the Puerto Rico district, advancing to the New Orleans regional round. Natalia is currently focused on furthering her artistic career through auditions for opera houses and international vocal competitions.​​​
