Natalie Baxter

Natalie Baxter is a Kentucky-born documentary filmmaker and video artist. Her work deals with themes of home and place: Native American powwow culture in Montana, life in Trench Town in Kingston, Jamaica and her own family heritage in central Appalachia. She holds a MFA in Digital Media from the University of Kentucky and a BA in Studio Art from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN.

Natalie currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, where she works in documentary film while teaching at the Digital Film Academy.
