Natalie Logan

Baton Rouge, Louisiana

I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University (May 2014) and am currently pursuing a Master of Music in Voice Performance (May 2016) at The Boston Conservatory!!

Originally from Dallas, Texas, my interest in opera was first sparked as an 8 year old on a trip to NYC where I saw my first opera-- The Magic Flute at the MET. I was mesmerized and spellbound and all of those kinds of things...my passion for opera was ignited and has only grown stronger over the years!

I have a dream and a vision for my career. I love everything about opera-- the drama, the glamour, the depth. I am proud to be in a deeply academic yet intensely artistic field where a mastery of languages, diction, song literature, music theory, music history, vocal pedagogy, etc.. is equally as important as vocal technique, dramatic interpretation, and characterization.

Most recently, I made my debut with Chicago Summer Opera as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte and performed in a master class with internationally renowned soprano Susanna Phillips. Other full production roles include Tytania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Flora (The Turn of the Screw), and Julie (The New Moon).

Who knows what the future will hold...but most importantly, I feel lucky to have found my true passion in life-- all things opera. Follow me on my journey in pursuit of this operatic career. "Reach for the moon...you will land among the stars."

Beyond my operatic activities, I'm a proud Texan, yoga lover, Zumba dancer, sushi enthusiast, coffee addict, friend of chocolate, and devoted fan of Beyoncé.
