Natalie Parker

Natalie began her dance training at Boca Ballet Theatre in her native Boca Raton, FL. At Boca Ballet Theatre, Natalie studied classical ballet technique under the direction of Dan Guin and Jane Tyree and had the opportunity to perform featured roles in the classical works La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Paquita, Con Amore, Les Sylphides, and The Nutcracker. She also had the opportunity to perform in various contemporary works choreographed by George Balanchine, Christopher Fleming, Mikelle Bruzina and Dan Guin. While at Boca Ballet, Natalie also attended Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL. After graduating from high school in 2006, Natalie furthered her dance training and education at Butler University where she majored in Dance and Arts Administration. While studying classical ballet technique under the direction of Michelle Jarvis, she had the opportunity to perform in the classical works Cinderella, Coppelia, Giselle, Dark Elegies, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. She also performed in various contemporary works choreographed by faculty members Cynthia Pratt, Derek Reid and Stephan Laurent. Natalie's arts administration courses focused on non-profit grant writing, marketing, event planning, fundraising and management. Natalie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dance-Arts Administration in 2010. Currently, Natalie works at Boca Ballet Theatre as an arts administrator and dance instructor, primarily ballet and jazz. Natalie recently became trained in teaching dance to those living with Parkinsons Disease. She is also a professional daner with REACH, A Dance Theatre Collective.
