Natalie is the education reporter for the Statesman Journal in Salem, Oregon.

Originally from Colorado, Natalie moved to Oregon to attend Willamette University, where she earned her degree in Politics and French/Francophone Studies (FFS).

Natalie has worked for organizations such as Direct Relief International, Global Health Connections and Amnesty International USA. Her work has been published with publications such as USA Today, the Associated Press and Ozy.

Natalie loves being part of many things in the Oregon community.

Among other things, Natalie plays the guitar and a bit of the drums and piano, she loves to hike, read, volunteer and spend time with her friends, family and dogs.
