Hi! My name is Natalie Czajka. I was born and raised here in Toronto, but both of my parents were born in Poland and moved here together. I'm the youngest of two, and my older sister Justine, who's 22, is currently in her first year of Med School in Poland.

In terms of school, my favorite subject are biology, drama, and english. I strongly dislike any subject rooted in math (which unfortunately is most of them). I am also an AP/Gifted student, and this is actually my first time taking a university english course as opposed to an AP level course, as I had a conflict with my schedule. That being said, I'm still very excited to be a part of this class!

My strengths in english include reading and creative writing, while my weaknesses are definitely spelling and idea development.

This year I am the Student Council Secretary, which is a commitment that may interfere with this class, but should not be a significant issue. Outside of school I am a competitive dancer, and I dance at the studio twice a week. However competitions only start in second semester so this commitment should not interfere at all with this class. I also play on the school rugby team, but that only starts second semester.

My short term goals for this year are mostly academic based: I want to focus in school to get the marks necessary to apply to the programs of my choice. I am currently interested in applying to either McMaster or Queens for Nursing or BioMed.
