Natalie Durand-Bush

Hi! I'm an associate professor and the Assistant Director of Undergrad Studies in the School of Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. My teaching and research interests include the psychology of sport and well-being, counselling, as well as the development and maintenance of expert performance.

I have a passion for consulting and have been working for the past 16 years as a performance enhancement consultant with hundreds of athletes competing at different levels in various sports, including athletes from six Canadian national teams and several athletes from the Peak Centre for Human Performance in Ottawa and Physio Outaouais, a physiotherapy and sport medicine clinic in Gatineau, Québec.

I am happily married and have the privilege of raising two beautiful children who make life such a blast !!! Like many Canadian families, we enjoy hockey and soccer and we love travelling across the globe to learn and appreciate different contexts and cultures.

Je suis fière d'être franco-ontarienne. I am originally from Northern Ontario but I enjoy living in the beautiful city of Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Here, nature surrounds us and it is easy to find peace and fulfillment.
