Natalie Hasty

My start in artistic design developed while in high school when I took a class called Advertising Design. It was the only class of it’s kind within 25 miles of where I live. Because of that, I spent the last two years of high school using my lunch traveling from my primary high school to another that offered these courses. Studying at two different schools made for a very unique experience and It was then that my life truly began. I discovered my love for design.

After high school, I attended Saint Edward’s University located in Austin, Texas from August 2004 through August 2007. I completed a B.A. in Graphic Design with a minor in Fine Arts. I was proudly selected to be on the Dean’s List from the Fall of 2005 to when I graduated cum laude in August of 2008. I also was chosen for the Sue and Frank McBee Art Endowed Scholarship for the spring semester of 2007. I was instrumental in forming Command G, the Saint Edward’s graphic design society along with a few other classmates and the organization is still alive and is as vibrant as ever. I was recently invited as an aluminus to speak to the students about pursuing a career in design.

After college, I landed a position as an interactive designer at Callaway Golf Interactive and have been employed at CGI for over three years now. The experience I’m gaining at Callaway continues to reach new levels that I never expected and because the Callaway Austin office is so small, I am able to explore all areas of the company. My main focus at Callaway concentrates on various marketing materials our customers and potential customers will see and be able to interact, this includes all print, online, and email newsletters. I’m now engrained within the culture at Callaway as a member of the Advisory Board and represent the voice of the other creatives I work alongside.
