My philosophy
I have always believed that the photograph should extend out onto the frame. I originally started by using rocks and drift wood that was handpicked from Lake Superior. From there, I expanded into using other materials like pinecones, acorns and even fall leaves. I eventually found my niche with stained glass which I color match and hand cut to truly explore the essence of each photograph and what I believe to be the extension of the captured moment.
I love to see the range of emotions on the faces of people who view my work for the first time; their reactions are why I’m proud to call myself an artist.
