On foot
I had to walk through the solar systems,
before I found the first thread of my red dress.
Already, I sense myself.
Somewhere in space hangs my heart,
sparks fly from it, shaking the air,
to other reckless hearts.
~ Edith Södergran

I have a background in psychology, executive education, corporate coaching, leadership development and strategic planning. My experience working as head research assistant and lab coordinator at a large, academic, clinical psychology research lab helped me realize that I am best suited to helping high-functioning individuals optimize themselves and their lives. This led me to the executive education branch of the business school – which was essentially the university’s in-house consulting practice. While there, I gained in-depth experience in leadership development, strategic planning and corporate coaching while overseeing customized programs for corporate executives. My time in executive education prompted me to get my MBA and try my hand in the corporate world. I ended up working as an internal organization and management consultant in the world of finance.

However, I ultimately realized that the corporate world, and most certainly finance, wasn't for me! I wanted to pursue a life that allowed me to be happy, healthy and support others who were seeking the same thing. Though I liked corporate coaching, which focuses primarily on professional performance, I wanted to use a more holistic, integrated approach when working with clients. To that end, I completed an intensive certification program under Master Life Coach, author, and O! Magazine columnist, Martha Beck. Armed with the comprehensive training, network, and resources that MBI gave me, I set out on my own to find how I could best serve others who seek to find and live their truth.
