Natalie Sarabella’s first creation was a 7″ antique gold ball with a wine colored poinsettia. 1994 was her start. Fast forward to 2024 and the year marks her thirtieth anniversary of hand painting her stunning Christmas Ornaments. By staying true to her motto that “Life Should (and does) Sparkle”, Natalie still loves what she does and is thrilled to have received the continuous support from her friends, family and fans.

For those that have been out of the loop, the Travel Channel has dubbed her as the “Rock Star of Christmas Ornaments” and crowned her as the “Diva of Decor & Queen of Christmas”. It makes her smile as she undoubtedly had the opportunity to make her life’s passion a vocation.

Natalie began to find her ground back in 1994 but 2011 went solo & truly marked her rebirth – the history speaks for itself.

She will never forget the early days in Brooklyn, New York where her mom took her to the A&S Department Store every Christmas Season. Her first impression was that “the ornaments on the store’s tree seemed so big and beautiful”, and as time inevitably passed her feelings changed and the ornaments lost their wow factor. They seemed so small and less fine.

This dissatisfaction prompted her to single-handedly restore the joys of Christmas. In 1994 her first collection came into the realm of existence. It all began with a painted chubby cherub reaching from a tuffet to place a star on a decorated Christmas Tree. The scene played out on a 6″ mouth-blown glass ball acting as her canvas, with the craftsmanship imported from as far as Germany.

She could have never anticipated that the ornament would have such a dazzling effect, exciting the likes of Joanna Carson, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Iovine, Mariah Carey among many others to seek after her artistic works and prompt them to become collectors.

But it was the invitation to the White House by President and Hillary Clinton that proved to be the créme de la créme. Natalie and her then partner Janet Mormile, fulfilled the State of Secretary’s request and presented a special ornament called “Santa’s Workshop” to Hillary Clinton at a private dinner party. Among the guests were Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Streisand who all commented on the exceptional nature of the gift.

The love for exquisite Couture Ornaments transcended deeper within the White House, with President H.W Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush as well as President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush possessing a collection of their own.
