Natalie Trenard

My name is Natalie Trenard and I'm in my last semester of my
senior year. I'm of Colombian and Haitian descent and sadly never traveled out
of the United States . I'm a full time student, employee and mother majoring in
Public Administration. I am a single a mom so furthering my education is not
only a goal but a necessity for me and my son. Having someone look up to you
you quickly realize how important your actions become. A child's education is
one of the most influential factors to their success. Therefore, I plan to
obtain a Masters in Public Health not only for myself but more so that can
serve as a good example to my son. I hope this class will help encourage me to
think and explore new ideas. I would love to walk away from the course and
think "that's interesting, I want to learn more." There
are a lot of things I like to do but the ones that bring me the most joy and
peace would have to be spending time with my family, cooking and the beach. My
two favorite sites are people.com and foodnetwork.com. I mean the way to almost
anyone's heart is through their tummy right? =)
