My name is Natalie Weber and I am currently a second year Public Relations student at Durham College.

I consistently strive to enhance my communication skills and maintain a positive attitude. I confidently engage with clients and the media, I have experience in planning and organizing events, and I posses computer skills using various design and writing programs. I have utilized my abilities during a 14-week non-profit field placement at Joanne's House, an emergency shelter for at-risk youth in the Durham Region, and also gained valuable work experience by playing a key role in the origanizations functions.

I also posses four years of work experience in the cosmetic industry, working for various companies including Lancôme Paris, Estee Lauder and Clinique. I have been able to demonstrate an ability to meet and exceed department sales quotas by demonstrating a through understanding of product knowledge.

In contrary to my love for beauty, I have a passion for the outdoors. I have my level one white water canoe license and have completed a survival-training course. During the summer, I try to plan portaging adventures and travel to as many different lakes as possible. In addition to my passion for nature, I am an animal enthusiast/advocate and environmentalist. I care for the well being of all animals, wildlife and the planet. The planet is our home, so why damage it? I believe in promoting the well-being of Mother Earth to ensure it is healthy for generations to come.

I am very multifaceted, and a professional on the rise. When I have a desire or belief in anything (career or hobby) I ensure that it I know it through and through and take great pride in advocating it in the most positive manner.
