Hello! My personal journey into Yoga has started 20 years ago. I was a busy student and wanted to create a sense of balance in my life. Yoga helped me to feel better, have more energy, develop positive outlook on life experiences, improve health, and become more flexible and creative. For many years, I have been studying different Yoga traditions (Hatha, Raja, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Gentle Flow, Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Pranayama) based on teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, Shri Patabhi Jois, and B.K.S. Iyengar. I specialize in Yoga for Scoliosis and Back Wellness. I believe my experience and knowledge can help me to assist you with creating the most comfortable experience of Yoga practice. I'm a Registered with Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher at 500 hours level and teach group classes and offer private instructions.
I have been studying Holistic Health for the past 20 years. My most recent studies were done at Bauman College. Its "Eating for Health" model focuses on Whole, Unprocessed, Organic, Seasonal and Local Foods and is very adaptable to the individual differences in tastes, preferences, and body composition. Working with you as a Nutrition Consultant, I can assist you with developing customized meal plans and menus (omnivorous, vegetarian, or vegan), provide easy to follow recipes, share simplified cooking methods, and inform you about optimal food choices which may improve your energy, mood, stamina, and physical and mental performance. I perform computerized diet evaluations, provide research on most recent nutritional recommendations for health imbalances, and optimize selection of supplements. I assess allergies, sensitivities, nutrient depletion, toxicity, and biochemical imbalances. I am a member of National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) and specialize in metabolism and weight.
