Natalka Falcomer
Natalka is a true anomaly. At the age of 28, she's accomplished what many of her generation are still contemplating.
Natalka, a Toronto native, is a first generation Canadian born into a multi-cultural home. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010 and received numerous awards for her legal scholarship. She spent a year with Hicks Morley LLP, Canada's largest labour law firm, and was called to the bar in 2011. During her articles Natalka expressed her passion for helping others and love of good food by authoring a cookbook, The Accommodating Kitchen, which (much to her surprise) was nominated for Taste Canada's 2012 Food Writing Award.
Following her stint on Bay Street, Natalka had an epiphany and decided to broaden her horizons. She finally gave into her first love - real estate - and is currently pursuing her real estate license. Over the past year she's also: appeared on Breakfast TV and co-hosted on Daytime TV as a culinary expert; wrote articles for Canadian magazines; kicked her way towards a black belt in karate; studied Italian at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura; and acted as an arbitrator at Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, dubbed the "Olympics" of international trade law competitions.
Starting in the fall of 2012, we'll see Natalka help Torontonians navigate the murky waters of the legal realm on her new show Legal Advice. Natalka resides in Toronto, obsesses over real estate and volunteers with UforChange. She is currently working on her blog (to be launched with Huffington Post) and first book, Recovering Perfectionist, as well as on her second-degree black belt in karate.
