Some of my most important experiences are when I was six years old and traveld for the first time to my dad's home town in Mexico. It was completely a place that I was free to run around without worring of breaking anything or being kidnapped. The grass seemed greener, the sky bluer, that is where I saw first hand how people lived in poverty and where extremely happy. My next life-changing moment came my freshman year of high school when I discovered the magic and long exhausting hours that went into technical theater. There I met some truely amazing people that became my family, they taught me that I am stronger that I thought I was and encouraged me to imagine doing bigger and better things. That with the right mindset and support anything you think of, you could accomplish. April 16, 2013 was a day I will never forget, not just because it was one of they best concerts I have ever been too, but because I felt different coming out of the Greek Theater that night. One of my first favorite bands growing up with an older sister was Green Day. I didn't fully understand the lyrics when I was younger or why Billie Joe Armstrong didn't like the government, but that night being next to my sister along with 8,000 other people, I felt complete and utter bliss. I can't say I have ever been as happy or content in my life, but that night there was something about the passion in the music, the love for lyrics we all knew by heart and bonding my sister and I had that made that night magical. My recent adventures led me across the pond to Italy, Germany and Switzerland where I got to eat some amazing food, learn for rich cultures and their people. Getting the opportunity to really open your mind to what the world has to offer and all there is out there to see.
